Mancano pochi giorni al FIWARE Global Summit 2022 a Gran Canaria, che si aprirà il 14 settembre 2022, si tratta del più grande e importante evento in presenza del 2022 per la comunità FIWARE che conta di più di 520 membri in tutto il mondo e che hanno l’opportunità di incontrarsi a Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in Spagna!
Quest’anno, l’evento è dedicato al concetto di “Guidare la trasformazione digitale”.
L’iniziativa fornirà gli ultimi punti salienti sulle innovazioni e implementazioni Open Source, presenterà più di 250 Smart Cities che utilizzano la tecnologia FIWARE, riferimenti in agroalimentare, industria, energia, acqua e turismo, tendenze del futuro di Digital Twins, Data Spaces, Smart Data Models, e combinerà una serie di attività che vanno dalle tabelle di marcia tecniche agli inviti aperti, dai colloqui di esperti ai seminari aziendali, dal networking alle negoziazioni interdisciplinari.
Le serate con cena faciliteranno i partecipanti ad ampliare la propria rete sociale.
Il 14 settembre sarà celebrato l’inizio del Summit.
A rappresentare il partenariato DYDAS e in qualità di relatore #FIWAREsummit22 sarà presente Iulian Gabriel Coltea, R&D Manager di Key2! Con oltre 10 anni di esperienza nello sviluppo di soluzioni e prodotti IT basati su tecnologie all’avanguardia. Coinvolto nello sviluppo di soluzioni AI e prodotti di edge computing e coordinatore tecnico del progetto DYDAS EU (cofinanziato dal Programma CEF – Connecting Europe Facility dell’Unione Europea). Negli ultimi 3 anni ha lavorato sia a livello business che tecnico su diversi progetti IT per l’industria delle telecomunicazioni, il retail e le pubbliche amministrazioni, con particolare attenzione all’automazione e al monitoraggio dei processi Al e condividerà la sua esperienza in progetti di dati per il settore pubblico. Infine contribuirà a lanciare il 2×1 Hackathon: Shed Light-on red traffic lights and urban greenery status composto da due sfide parallele:
- “Shed Light-on red traffic lights” che ha l’obiettivo di stimolare la creatività nel trovare soluzioni ai problemi quotidiani della mobilità urbana, sfruttando le funzionalità della piattaforma DYDAS che mira a dare valore a dati e idee e fornisce gli strumenti necessari per realizzarli.
- “Shed Light-on urban greenery status” che ha l’obiettivo di raccogliere idee su come integrare e sfruttare High Value Datasets, open data provenienti da diverse fonti di dati (in particolare dati satellitari) per supportare i decisori nella gestione dell’area verde a partire dalle tre aree pilota di Milano, Helsinki, Napoli, nell’ambito del progetto SPOTTED. Con tale Hackathon si intende fornire una soluzione innovativa basata sull’integrazione e l’elaborazione personalizzata di enormi raccolte di dati aperti, inclusi i dati di osservazione della Terra per monitorare e supportare i decisori nel campo della gestione delle aree verdi urbane.

DYDAS at the FIWARE Global Summit 2022
Only a few days to go until the FIWARE Global Summit 2022 in Gran Canaria, the largest and most important event in the presence of 2022 for the FIWARE community with its more than 520 members worldwide which will meet in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain!
This year, the event is dedicated to the concept of “Driving digital transformation”.
The initiative will provide the latest highlights on Open Source innovations and implementations, will present more than 250 Smart Cities using FIWARE technology, references in agri-food, industry, energy, water and tourism, trends of the future of Digital Twins, Data Spaces, Smart Data Models, and will combine a range of activities ranging from technical roadmaps to open invitations, from expert talks to corporate seminars, from networking to interdisciplinary negotiations.
Dinner nights will facilitate participants to expand their social network.
The start of the Summit will be celebrated on 14 September.
Representing the DYDAS partnership and as speaker # FIWAREsummit22 will be present Iulian Gabriel Coltea, R&D Manager of Key2! With over 10 years of experience in developing IT solutions and products based on cutting-edge technologies. Involved in the development of AI solutions and edge computing products and technical coordinator of the DYDAS EU project (co-funded by the CEF Program – Connecting Europe Facility of the European Union). In the last 3 years he has worked both at a business and technical level on various IT projects for the telecommunications industry, retail and public administrations, with particular attention to automation and monitoring of Al processes and will share his experience in projects of data for the public sector. Furthermore he contribute to launch the 2×1 Hackathon: Shed Light-on red traffic lights and urban greenery status consisting of two parallel challenges:
- “Shed Light-on red traffic lights” which aims to stimulate creativity in finding solutions to the daily problems of urban mobility, exploiting the functions of the DYDAS platform which aims to give value to data and ideas and provides the necessary tools to achieve them.
- “Shed Light-on urban greenery status” which aims to gather ideas on how to integrate and exploit High Value Datasets, open data from different data sources (in particular satellite data) to support decision makers in the management of the green area starting from the three pilot areas of Milan, Helsinki, Naples, as part of the SPOTTED project. With this Hackathon we intend to provide an innovative solution based on the integration and customized processing of huge collections of open data, including Earth observation data to monitor and support decision makers in the field of urban green area management.
